Yup. Digital on October 9th.

Universal has both dates on their FB ads for the Walmart exclusive.

Watched this on Blu-Ray last night, I can’t tell if this is intentional or not but on both the Blu-Ray and the DVD, I’m hearing a sprinkler-like chirping noise during the scenes with Sophie, Rosie, and Tanya. It’s most prevalent at 1:15:10, just before the Dancing Queen sequence. I don’t have the 4k yet, but will definitely look into it on that one. Seems like it could be an issue with the sound mix, but again I’m not sure. If it was intentional, it wasn’t a very good decision.

Did anyone pick up the Target edition? I'm trying to figure out if the exclusive bonus is on a disc or if it's only on Movies Anywhere, and I don't see a lot of info about their version online yet.

Yes please, if anyone has Target if they could advise on the format (disc or digital) and the feature names and lengths. Sometimes the Target stuff is a single underwhelming feature.

Okay, per a friend of mine, the exclusive material is on an included DVD. It's called Behind the Soundtrack and it's comprised of 13 short features, each covering a song, and it's 22 minutes in total. It covers the songs of the movie and their use in it, but I'm not sure how substantial or informative it might be.

I bought the Walmart blu-ray with the soundtrack sampler. The cd is encased in a cardboard sleeve inside the blu-ray case.

It has five songs:
1. Dancing Queen - Brosnan, Baranski, Walters, Firth, Skarsgard, Cooper & Seyfried
2. When I Kissed the Teacher - Lily James, Jessica Keenan Wynn, Alexa Davies & Celia Imrie
3. Angel Eyes - Julie Walters, Christine Baranski & Amanda Seyfried
4. One of Us - Amanda Seyfried & Dominic Cooper
5. I Have a Dream - Lily James

Well guys, I bought 4 copies. The 4k, Wal-Mart, Target, and BestBuy. I liked the Target features and would likely check them out again, it's cool to hear about the decision making process of what songs they chose. I just wish they were HD. The steelbook looks great imo, I didn't think the art was that great on it from the pictures but it looks pretty nice in person. The Wal-Mart edition was a bit disappointing because the picture showed a different image for the soundtrack sampler than what it actually came with. The 4k looks and sounds amazing, I think it's reference quality, but I could be biased.

Also I had all of them shipped and apparently all retailers suck at shipping which is good to know.

Is anyone having trouble getting the Target edition? I ordered it online weeks before the release and they haven't even shipped it yet. Customer service doesn't know what's going on and all stores within 200 (or whatever) miles of me have no stock per the website...

I always have trouble when I order from Target. Sadly I was nowhere near a Target on release day.
