That was weird, I made a post into this thread but somehow it was removed.

Anyway, I am REALLY anticipating this premiere. Lost is the BEST TV series in the history of everything. Ever.

Questions..

What is the black monster.
What happened to John Locke and the survivors after the "Oceanic 6" returned to civilization?
What happened to Claire?
WHY do they need to get back? They spend the entire time trying to find rescue. Jack's life is messed up, but Sun seems to be doing quite well for herself. Same for Kate and Aaron.
WHY is this show so awesome and addicting?!
What's going to happen with Ben and Penelope?
What was with "Adam & Eve" in the caves?
What was the giant foot statue?
Who and what is Jacob and what is the cabin.. what was Ben and Locke's "kinship" with the island all about?
Is Jin alive or dead? (I hope alive.. this will bring Sun back to the island.)

Are we going to see the survivors in this new season or just the Oceanic 6's struggle to return to the island? And how the heck do they get back?!

Woo. Can't wait.

They actually promised to revisit both of these for season 4 but the strike happened.

Don't quote me on this, but I think that, rather than flashbacks and flash forwards, the story is going to jump back and forth between the O6 trying to return to the island and what the people left behind are doing on the island. So while Locke is dead in the present day O6 segments, he's still alive in the segments set on the island after it vanished. Though eventually everything will "catch up" and we'll see Locke leave the island and become Jeremy Bentham.

Yeah I've heard the same thing which would be refreshing from all the time jumping(Like Jin's trip to the hospital episode).

I know. They are still on the Island and "the Oceanic 6" are all torn apart because they made a deal with Desmond's Girlfriend's Father (forget his name) to be released back to civilization in order to keep their mouths shut about the island...

I also wanna know things like, how did that Psychic know about the crash when telling Claire to get on the plane and why it was sooo important for that baby to be born on the island... Remember that?

I definetly believe the island shifts times and locations. Hence the ship wreck on the island, the polar bears (yes there is a zoo), and I disagree with a poster above that the series has been in a decline. Season 3 was slow but 4 I believe was awesome. i cannot wait until they release 1 & 2 on blu!

Season 2 was where they lost the most fans. I know plenty of people who just couldn't get past it. But season 3 made up for the shortfallings of 2. Season 4 was pure awesome.

Well they did promise to reveal SOMETHING about the black smoke monster, but only something small. They said it will not be fully revealed until the very end.

The temporal anomalies around the island caused that. Well, Jin was blown into the water by the explosion, and actually washed up on shore *before* the explosion even happened. So, when the island disappeared, he was already on it and recovering from his injuries (remember, the island heals people).

eeehhh i thought the first half of season 4 was good, and then it got stupid. IMO of course, but once i saw ben turn the wheel and the island disappear i was like, oh god, this just got dumb. so im very curious to see what direction it takes this season

I know. Go back and re-read what I wrote. I'm saying that if the explosion launched Jin into the water, he could have washed up on shore hours earlier just like the doctor's body did. Hence, he would have been on the island when it vanished.
