Lionsgate also owns any Anchor Bay/Starz licenses as well (That includes the original film).

Apparently a remake might happen (of course), with The Rock (of course). So I guess there's hope for a UHD.

One of my all-time favorites buuuuuuuuut I'm not so sure this needs an upgrade. In fact, this is one of those very rare instances where I wonder if the added detail and clarity of a UHD will actually be a detriment, at least for me. So much of what I love about this movie is tied to my memories of seeing it as a kid on a shit-ass TV where I could hardly see a thing, so it will be interesting to see how this will compare. Might really hate it.

Of course, it will probably be awesome. Also, any excuse to revisit JC's score.

And as for audio, they can Atmos the shit out of it for all I care just as long as they put the original mono on there.
