Closer to February to tie-in with the new Dark Phoenix movie, most likely.

Mixes are most likely done and these aren't out yet only because Dark Phoenix was delayed. Would've had them now if not very soon; at least they put the UHDs out on Apple TV, though that could've been an error as it's so early.

Considering the end of this trilogy is aligned with the Dark Phoenix story, I figure it'll release with Dark Phoenix.

Also New Mutants was delayed indefinitely, wasn't it?

I came in here thinking "wait, don't I already own this?", but then realized thats the Walmart prequel trilogy I own in 4K.

This will be nice. Seen these so many times, and have owned so many versions that I'm hoping the pricing is closer to the $25 Walmart price I paid for the prequel trilogy ha.

They've already got releases for these movies internationally in October so I would bet they'll come out in the U.S. around the same time. Or thereabouts.

New Mutants is delayed until August 2019 for reshoots because some of the actors are not available until later in the year due to other commitments (Maisie Williams with Game of Thrones for example). The major delay after that is to allow enough time for VFX work to be completed. Dark Phoenix was delayed for similar reasons; reshoots were needed but most of the cast weren't available until later in the year and they needed time for VFX to be completed.

The reshoots for New Mutants are being helmed by the same director as principal photography and are apparently to make the film more in line with his original vision; apparently the original version of the film was a very neutered down version of Josh Boone's vision due to studio concerns but the success of IT convinced Fox to let him go wild with the horror stuff in reshoots. The reshoots are also bringing along story changes to make the film more standalone from the other X-Men films; originally there was a subplot with Jon Hamm as Mr Sinister, but they're replacing him with Antonio Banderas as a different villain.

Sounds like they decided New Mutants was not the best place to introduce Mr. Sinister and are saving him for later (if more X-Men films get made). Tbh, I'm expecting him to show up as the villain in Deadpool 3/X-Force.

Hopefully they have a Wolverine Trilogy along side this. Before you tell me Logan shouldn't be released along side the other two, your right. But having an evolution from worst to best might be a fairly decent option.
