Thank you, that's good to know.

Believe me, here in the UK I've come across some drivers who were so bad that I've wondered if they've even passed a driving test or have a licence. I'm sure they think that rules are only for other road users, and not them.

I guess that's common everywhere. Even on short drives to work a mile away I frequently wonder how some people get from home to their destinations without hitting anybody.

It's more apparent in bigger cities where people rely more on street parking. One of the times I left my car on a street when I was younger, someone knocked off my mirror but they stopped and knocked on my parents door.

What is the point of making Wikipedia edits that serve no purpose?

A few years ago I came across a Wiki entry of a movie franchise, and one of the things these pages like to do is list the principle cast of all the movies. Well the cast list I came across was pretty messed up, so I went through and edited it, put the actors in order by billing and listed full character names.

Sometime later I return and it's been edited to hell! Someone took out the listings of known actors who had major billing in these movies. Why? Someone added no-name actors with insignificant roles and listed them above name actors (for example, it'd be like editing the cast list of Pulp Fiction to show John Travolta, Samuel L. Jackson, Uma Thurman, Bruce Willis and Bob Smith as the lead actors). Why?

...still makes me tear up, every time


also, a lot of people don't know that it was directed by alan alda. he also directed some of the episodes during the seasons, but that one was his finest.

and if you've never seen the movie that the show is based on, i suggest it, as well.

and fun fact...gary burghoff is the only actor that was in both the movie and the tv show.

I've never seen the movie, pretty sure that was the first time I saw all the episodes. I definitely put it up there in the best shows of all-time conversation, with GoT, Deep Space 9 and How I Met Your Mother. I think it lost a bit of gas after season 9 so it's probably good it ended when it did. That finale was a gut wrencher, still not sure why they had Hawkeye go nuts.

I'm glad you liked it, however personally I'm not in a rush to see it. It seems there's been a new MI every year or two that it's pretty redundant at this point.
