This puts me in an undesirable situation where my favorite movie of the year gets an okay steelbook but it's not in 4k. I will go with the 4k. And maybe the steelbook. Maybe. I hope there is a target exclusive.

I actually like it. I haven't seen the movie and I don't know if it's really my cup of tea, but I'll probably still get it for the wife and daughter

Didn't even realize this was for the sequel, or that there was a sequel. I wonder if the first film will get a steel release to go with this one.

Tempted to get it. The only thing preventing me from pre-ordering right now is the fact that the U.S. never got one for the first movie.

Theres a german steelbook for the first one I bought at 9eur some time ago,
I will get steelbook for the sequel but not this one,
that cover can be minimalistical or whatever... but it doesnt represent the
movie to me,
prefer this:

Yeah, it sure does. BB did this to another recent release, forget which one now, where the listing started out as a Blu-ray/DVD combo, but wound up being a 4K/Blu-ray combo.

They don't make it easy, do they?

Enjoyed the first movie, and would like to get the 4K.

Enjoyed the second movie, would like to get the 4K steelbook.

Went to pre-order the 4K steelbook, but it doesn't SAY 4K. Went to search Blu-Ray.com, but Mamma Mia doesn't show up in search results. Went to search for 4K Steelbooks on Google, Ebay, etc... and it seems the german releases previously mentioned are the only ones currently available, and unless I'm just shopping the wrong sites... are NOT cheap.

So I definitely want both movies with Atmos, and if both were in steelbook that would be awesome. But it doesn't appear a 2-movie 4K steelbook set is being released anywhere. *sigh*

Looks like the Search function is down for Blu-ray right now. Works for other things like Movies and UV

Edit: MifuneFan has reported it so maybe they'll fix it soon

It will most like be a 4K UHD disc like all the other musicals that have recently come out.. the greatest showman, pitch perfect 3 etc.

The art is a wasted opportunity to showcase the eclectic nature of the movie. But some like it simple.

There is another listing on BestBuy.com for a Mamma Mia movie with no picture or actual listing. Don't suppose it is, but a 4K steelbook of the first movie would be a nice add.
