Yes, it's all but confirmed that Alien will hit on 4/26 for Alien Day. What people are really wanting though, is Aliens!

Tempting but I'll sit tight for a 4K Anthology, or at least the first two.

I like Alien more than Aliens.

Aliens too "blockbuster" and action orientated. (still like it tho)

Alien has better atmosphere and more of a horror vibe.
And the pace is slower which I like.

And yeah ill wait for the 4K set like Im doing for The Matrix.

Curious what the final art will look like - that first image is from the 'Alien: Isolation' game I'm pretty sure. Shame it's not coming until next year, but my wallet will take a beating with the upcoming 4K releases in the next few months so I can wait.

Speak for yourself! I absolutely adore Aliens, but the first film's better.

Yeah, I'll be needing all of them. Hopefully we can get them all at once. Don't really like Alien 3 though, but Resurrection was alright in a weird kind of way for me.

I want Alien and Aliens! I also hope they come with a digital code! I like 3 and 4 in the rewatc scheme, but I’m personally fine with Blu-Ray for those.

I like both films but I feel Alien will look amazing in 4k.
Aliens is going to look grainy with lots of obvious actors in front of movie screens, shots.

Sure, but the BD looked excellent (surprisingly so, after James Cameron's 'degraining' comments left everybody in a panic), so I see no reason why the UHD shouldn't look even better.

Alien, when I saw it for the first time last year, became one of my favorite horror films.

Aliens, when I watched it the week after (in a theater, no less) was... all right, I guess.

Color me STOKED for this release. Also, that Steelbook is awesome.
