*grumble* *grumble*
The biggest frustration for me with the Pixar UHD releases, to-date, has been their relegating the shorts to the standard Blu-ray discs only. I was hoping that at least future releases of the Pixar Shorts Collection series would make up for that by presenting UHD versions I could buy even though I'd have already purchased all of the shorts in question. Come on, Pixar- do the right thing here!* I'm looking for an excuse to give you more money. * of course, it's not even really the "right" thing, which would've been to include the shorts on the UHD discs that I already bought Last edited by Doctorossi; 08-14-2018 at 03:16 PM. |

It's all a strategic move from the studio. And since November hits closer to Thanksgiving and Christmas and considering this is a family film it makes more sense for them to release it around that time to pump up the sales. |

Typically the June Pixar release gets a first Tuesday of November blu-ray release.

I think the more surprising thing is that Pixar Short Films vol 3 is coming out November 13, and Disney likes to load up release dates with multiple titles. For Incredibles to come out a week before Pixar Short vol 3 seems out of "character" for Disney/Pixar releases not to be all on the same day.

I noticed there's a new projection letter for the theatrical DCP. It seem's they re-edited the scene that was causing concerns for those with epilepsy. I assume the home release will have the same edits.
