Plus Bryant has to know he'd probably be the #3 WR in Cleveland. Not sure that's what he wants since he wants to earn a big paycheck for next year.

Exactly. He may want a 'prove-it' contract, but he's not going to be in a position to prove it much as a #3 receiver anywhere to get the money he's hoping for in a subsequent deal.

And we're trying to install a new culture in Cleveland.... some young receivers with great potential. Why throw a bad apple in the bag?

Josh Allen is definitely ahead of schedule. Enough to start Week 1? I just don’t know.

Despite this, I bet he still goes in the 4th round in most fantasy drafts. While I'm glad he's coming back, I play in PPR leagues and I'm going after Landry in that round. Much safer floor.

Finally getting around to watching the Eagles/Pats pre-season game. Dunno the extent of Foles' injury yet but if can't play for the first few weeks, and if we're not gonna rush Wentz back until he's definitely 100%... Sudfeld's not exactly inspiring a lot of confidence in me. We open against Atlanta and that game is by no means a gimme, even with a healthy Wentz under center.

Although there's a bit of poetic irony to having our third-stringer start the game when we finally hoist our first Superbowl banner lol
