Sort of self promotion, but hey... we've got a Q&A session up with the Dragonball Z Team at FUNimation about their debut launch title on the format and what we can expect in a technical sense.

I hope that it won't be a cropped image. That's my #1 concern. The Complete Season DVD sets have had that, and such, has had negative reviews over that.

I think that "pillarboxing" the image would be the best step to take regarding this. It would preserve the entire original image in terms of the show. Unless a movie was produced in the 16x9 aspect ratio, it would be wise to take extra measures to preserve the aspect ratio.

Don't listen to reviews, the cropped DVDs look damn good on my TV. Bluray has enough space for both versions I think.....HINT

The TV series may look good that way, but as a film fan and someone who wants the original aspect ratio, it's a travesty. There are so many bad scenes because of it that it's ridiculous.

Ahh the good ol' days of cartoon network and watching a guy yell as he charges up for a whole episode, so invigorating lol, nah but I use to watch this all the time, wonder what it would be like in hd.
