Aaron Stanford and Maggie Grace. At least they are casting well known actors.

So no zombie gators ![]() Can you imagine the utter ridiculousness of the show if our survivors had to fight off zombie bears and other wildlife? |

Also, Kirkman said consuming infected meat has no effect on a person. So I'm not sure if that rule applies to water that has been tampered with.

"Zoombies" was an utter hoot and not prolonged over some fourteen episodes - sometimes 83 minutes is a good thing. |

Mid season finale and premieres are ridiculous. Who has ever heard of that prior to TWD?

I'll also admit - the pacing of both shows is painful - I'd have no intention to ever watching these shows on DVD/bluray, since with my Tivo I can watch them at an increased 30% speed. I do though revert to normal speed when it comes to action scenes to savor the gore and action.

What made season 3 so enjoyable was each episode moved the story forward and seemed to up the ante for all the characters. Now, they've fallen into the walking dead trap: split everyone up and only focus on one person per episode. Each episode has someone trying to break through to a character who is hardened by/numb to the world around them. This person, after a series of really stupid decisions/actions (bordering on victim in a slasher movie logic) of course sees the error of their ways after being shown to appreciate the "little things" or some other nonsense. Rinse and repeat. Then, at the end of the season everyone gets briefly reunited and you realize that after all those episodes, because we were shown the same exact events from slightly different viewpoints - only a single day has passed in the show's time.
It's really disappointing how quickly they tanked fear after reaching it's peak a season ago. I'm still watching, but find myself checking what time it is more frequently now. |
