Thinking about buying another pair of tennis shoes that I don't need tomorrow and trying to decide which ones I want to get. These are tennis shoes to be used for tennis so I'm a little ashamed that the only thing that goes into my thinking is which pair I like the looks of more.

Really hoping this lawnscaper shows up tomorrow. Had someone lined up yesterday and they were a no show. The no show didn’t piss me off as much as me not finding out until I sent them a text. Which was weird because they confirmed the appointment the day before

that would piss me off more than if they called and cancelled. if you can't make it, at least call and give me some half-assed excuse. but to not call at all and never even show up? that's just bad form.

i'd be sure to post who it is on yelp or tell as many people about it as i could.

I hired a mobile dog groomer and they cancelled on me twice. They used bad weather as an excuse but I suspect they were just not too happy about coming to my neighborhood so I wrote that on the yelp review. Needless to say she wasn't happy about it but I felt it was my duty to let people know this person had a neighborhood phobia. People should still be careful how they word the reviews to not make them sound like they're defaming the vendor. People have gotten sued over it

which is on a whole other level of dumb

people get too sue-happy and want to sue someone to try and get money from them any way possible.

instead of going through the bs that is a lawsuit and the time it takes, how about trying to actually do better in your business and not have anymore reviews like that. too many babies running around wanting everyone to like them and when someone doesn't, they lose it and want to sue someone for a legitimate claim.

i can understand if the review was defaming and totally not true. but many times they ARE true; and people still get pissy about it and whine like a little baby when they don't get their way. if someone gives you a bad review and you feel you did nothing wrong, be a grownup, call that customer and try to work something out. ask them to give you another chance to make it a positive experience for both of you. and ask the customer that if they are pleased with the second go-round, will they remove the negative comments or at least update the review to a positive one.

communication....it's not that difficult....just that some people are afraid of it. too many look at it as confrontation, when all it really is, is communication.
