anyways... anyone got healthy tips of how to GAIN weight?
i am a rare species in america trying to GAIN weight.
Gaining weight:

Heavy amounts of egg for breakfast. 2.0g protein per pound of bodyweight. Lots of oats (calorie dense) and lots of carbohydrates before sleepy time. Make sure you go to the gym or it will become fat instead of lean body mass.

I could use about 10 pounds more. Already gained 5 but it was a rather lenghty process but I wanted to make sure it was muscle!

Eat whatever you want and run 60-100 miles/week. Works like a charm

I started at 270 Lbs at age 15. I decided to lose weight and I plummeted down to a 150Lbs at 6'2, increasing my metabolism and making it difficult to gain weight

From there I was a little afraid to bulk back up, but I managed to do a slow bulk without gaining a ton of fat because I ate quite cleanly, and I am currently back to 245Lbs at age 20, although now I have a 385Lb bench, 600 lb squat, and 625Lb deadlift, and a low bodyfat percentage, and compete in both bodybuilding, powerlifting, and mixed martial arts. I gained most of my lean body mass through eating a LOT of eggs, oats, chicken, lean ground beef, sausage, cottage cheese, and milk.

Anyone who tells you they can't gain weight just isn't trying hard enough. It's better to do it the way you and I did it, a slow consistent bulk, then it is to do an all out bulk/cut which most people do. Way too much fat gain and eventually you just use it as an excuse to become a slob and go to Mcdonalds 5x a week.

as for beverages, i only drink water, tea or fresh lemonade or iced tea with very little sugar.

Eat several small meals throughout the day, making sure that your more simple carbs consumed earlier. Do not eat too late!(lean meats and vegetables is the way to go, along with complex carbs, like lentils)

Do a good hour and a half of weightlifiting at least 3 times a week, and do whats called, interval cardio training when you can. Basically, go really fast, then stop, several times. Look it up. That training burns alot of calories.
