Homeowners Insurance May Not Cover All Discs

I’m in VA, and will probably get hit by Florence too. Fortunately my disc and other valuable personal items like my MacBook Pro are all upstairs and not a flood risk. Unless my (parents’) house gets blown away (highly unlikely), I’m not worried. I doubt even a tree falling would actually permanently damage any of my personal belongings (the house is big, but 100 years old and has no upstairs plumming).
