Yes, because a man telling a woman how to think is the same thing.

How is that personal? We all grieve, it’s a part of being human. Calling into question someone’s mental capacity is a little different. That’s not something someone would say face to face, they wouldn’t have the bottle imo.

Many in here like to be billy big bollocks (obviously not you) and probably wouldn’t say boo to a goose if they were standing next to me. Some of you guys just get ridiculous whenever the discussion is not going your way. People have been banned and suspended for far less.

Man, words escape me. So two wrongs do make a right Steedeel? Insensitive much? Are you are so blinded by your point of view that you can’t even see the hypocrisy in your actions. Given your general attitude in the forum you are the last person to question why any of us here haven’t been banned or suspended. Let alone pull up your big boy pants and play internet tough guy. Don’t underestimate what a person is capable of based on appearances. Because rest assured they aren’t making the same mistake and might just surprise you.

I'm not telling you to leave, but just that people joking around and being sarcastic is quite normal. It is up to you to determine if you can deal with that or if it is better for you to avoid it.
Are you kidding? Last few years I get dogs abuse on here. I can take it but the digs are simply too personal lately imo. Bringing mental illness into the discussion is at best Distasteful.

Also, come on. Seven years and I haven’t even reported a single member. I was just making a point.

I could care less if I lose access to a digital movie after 5 years.

If I really want to watch it again, it's probably available on a streaming service I subscribe to like Amazon or Netflix. If not, I can always rent it or buy it again on the latest format like 4K or 8K which I do anyways for movies I really like.

Right. When I first came to this thread a year or two back I was pounced on like fresh meat in a lions cage. Now, as someone who has spoken about depression and losing all but two family members got mocked half assedly that I have the same thing for digital movies.

You only get shit because you make outlandish comments or predictions like a street corner end of days sign waving mad man. I’m not going to say you’re bipolar, but maybe you could find something else to occupy your brain space to stop thinking every new device is a doomsday disc device.

Exactly.

How many collectors upgrade movies every couple years (sometimes earlier) to new formats or new remastered versions? While one is voluntarily doing it, by the time the theoretical lost movies are removed they are probably on something else or better. Yes does removal suck, but the decrease in cost and value would make it an easy, cheap fix. Nothing to sweat over.

Maybe not, but looking back it kind of feels like you did based on your giving BK a pass and your recent replies

Come off it, we could all cherry pick a few words and then claim some insult or back up to a insult.

You guys know I wouldn’t intentionally do that, ever.

A new release is typically $3-5 cheaper on digital.

If you buy 20 movies a year, you are potentially saving $100. So you can easily buy back some of those movies again if you want to. Or just be $100 richer.

You could. Or you could give a shit about your HT and buy 4K and Blu-ray Disc.

This incident of movies being removed from a person's digital collection at the sole discretion of the streaming content provider would bother me greatly IF I actually had purchased any digital content. I still find this action to be unacceptable, however isolated this incident may, or may not, prove to be. It further cements my decision, like it needed any , to not purchase any digital content. I will rent it only.

The fact that there are people, especially those with substantial digital collections, who are not bothered by any of this is okay by me; we are each entitled to make our own decisions. I am certainly not going to insist that anyone be upset about it.
