Rule of thumb for n00bs.. A good amplifier is $.50/per RMS watt.. So take that into consideration next time you see a 4000 watt amp for $200

I remember those number discussions with customers when I used to install at a shop. On top of that the amount of alternator/electrical power it would take to remotely get that amp to put out that wattage (4000 watts) and not melt.........

well i traded the pioneers for mb quart speakers as my fronts were 6.5" and not 5.25" (2002 deville dts)

my fronts are 6.5" mb quart components
rear is 5.25" 2 way mb quart

i must say the mb quarts destroy the pioneers.
my wife has pioneers in her car as inside speakers and they are loud but not much clairty

Vehicle 1: BMW 535i - Alpine Stereo system with Audyssey Equalization, Alpine speakers through out. I have 2 JL audio subs (haven't installed them - giving them to my Brother for his Classic Oldsmobile).

Vehicle 2: BMW 740iL - Stock system with 6 disc cd changer

Vehicle 3: Suzuki Forenza - stock system.

I'm not as picky either with my car systems the 535 is the fun car, the 740 is the cruzer and the Forenza is the economic gas saver (I like the stock system in that car)

P.S. Gave up the Ford Windstar a while ago...I see it every now and then and it's still goin' strong!

The ndss was made by Nissan North America, in either the manufacturing plants in Mississippi or Tennessee. The sound from the system does NOT exactly come from the rear end like many propose, but from the entire interior door panes and front end.
