Took a little longer than usual to load in my Philips, but wound up playing without a problem (that little player is a champ, I swear). Sucks that people are having playback issues.

I just ran to Walmart and Target to see if they had any copies and nothing.

that what my Walmart did today a row of following Halloween American psycho punisher punisher warzone price tags and no movies wtf

i'm trying to figure out if I should try to wait until tomorrow call back see if they actually put in the movies or go ahead order Halloween and American psycho 4k's now meh

Yep. Saw the place holder for Halloween and American Psycho with no movies. I would have bought both if they actually had them.

idiots i'm still mad they didn't have no solo 4k's only blurays

i decided to order standard solo target tonight due to might have a hard time with little book on exclusive like i did infinity war 4k book was hard take in and out

i got cost down 32.49 with 6 bucks gift card free shipping by noon tomorrow supposed get it Friday might be delayed due to hurricane

i don't really know what to do wait call them in morning or order both Halloween and American psycho 4k's amazon or bullmoose

eh its funny yet they had the x men trilogy of 1st 3 movies in stock 4k<-i got that tonight only thing there was at least i now have new movies and old movies xmen on 4k

My closest Walmart had all the movies out early in the morning. Didn't check any others. Would try Brickseek, but guess the only way you can really know is if you go again or to another. Or hope they will check in the back.

Aren't many copies, but doubt they will sell out fast.

well I just call Walmart its midnight so no fedex truck shows up with new movies woman on phone say they might put Halloween and American psycho in stock 4k morning not sure

she thinks go ahead order online somewhere like amazon instead just forgot about Walmart I just not sure what to do

Works flawless on my X. It’s my favorite UHD player, I even like it more than Oppo and Panasonic 820. Never had an issue with any movie.

Can try Walmart store pickup. Target price for Halloween is $14.99, but if can only do Walmart should be able to pick it for you no matter where it is in the store. Even better if your Walmart has one of those automatic pickup towers.

And here we go again - another thread, another UHD disc giving people a hard time in their players. This is why I don't own a player yet. I'll buy one when I'm convinced the UHD discs I buy will play in them. I'm not convinced yet. Disc problem, player problem, whatever - the manufacturers/studios need to fix these UHD playback issues. I see way too many comments about this. I'm really wondering if UHD is just a borked format due to players not handling the high-bitrate streams steadily.

Just watched it in DV and imo it looks good. The detail is better, the colors look good and I checked it against the 35th anniversary BR to see what difference I could see. The 4k version has better colors especially with clothing and plant foilage etc. The 4k is a tiny bit darker in the daytime shots but nothing drastic but the lighting with the HDR looks better. Is it reference quality no but looks to be a upgrade compared to the 35th anniversary edition.

If you see a price tag but no movie just get one of the store employees to go check the stock. I've had to get employees to go check in the back stock rooms and open stock boxes to find movies I've wanted.

Anyone experiencing a weird blotchy white flickering during the different cue card titles in the beginning when it says the date and again when it says Haddonfield, Illinois?

It even flickers when it's paused which is weird as hell. I'm gonna exchange it for another copy tomorrow I guess. Playing on an Xbox One S.

It’s an optical. But I don’t exactly see what you describe. It looks as expected. Watching on Xbox One X.

Edit: It’s probably a hardware issue and not a disc issue.
