Bloody Disgusting just posted the final specs for Single White Female, yet I can't find Shout's announcement anywhere.

The Blu-ray is out November 13, and special features include:

I was hoping for a remaster. The existing HD master of this film looks terrible.

If I recall correctly, Bridget Fonda didn't want to talk about Lake Placid when they were working on that blu-ray, so I assumed she wouldn't for this movie either.

Yeah, I can see her not getting too excited about an interview on Lake Placid but this is one of her highlights. Shame.

Jeff Nelson said they tried three times to get JJL for an interview, but she always turned them down. Very strange, but I'm sure she has her reasons. Jeff seems disappointed too.

The more you know! I like her, but can't consider myself a fan, and therefore had no idea who she was hitched to. Good for her. I'd marry the dude if it meant I could stop being a failed editor/fairly-succesfull bar manager.

Can't say that I blame him. I'd be disappointed, too, it's Jennifer Jason Leigh. I do get the impression that she just has no interest in participating in extras, she's never really done it before (even the new Flesh and Blood disc from Eureka nabbed Verhoeven for fresh extras).

SCREAMERS for January!

**SCREAMERS Update**

Back in July we announced that the 90s sci-fi epic SCREAMERS (starring Peter Weller) was in progress and today we make its path a little more clearer: Release date for the new Blu-ray is January 29th!

The year is 2078. The man is rebel Alliance Commander Col. Joseph Hendrickson (Weller), assigned to protect the Sirius 6B outpost from ravage and plunder at the hands of the New Economic Bloc. His state-of-the-art weaponry are known as Screamers: manmade killing devices programmed to eliminate all enemy life forms. Screamers travel underground, their intent to kill announced by piercing shrieks. They dissect their victims with sushi precision, then eradicate all traces of the carnage. They are lethal. Effective. Tidy.

Extras are in progress and will be announced on a later date.

We know you've been asking.... and today we're happy to provide an update on The Plague Dogs!

Last November, we announced that we would be taking The Plague Dogs off the schedule to work with Martin Rosen in hopes of finding film elements for the extended cut of the film. We're happy to say that we DID locate a print of the extended version and are thrilled to include it in our release. PLUS we filmed a new interview with Martin Rosen which also will appear on our release.

So by my reckoning that just leaves the following from the SDCC announcements:

Saturday the 14th
Obsession (CE)
10 to Midnight (CE)
The Craft (CE)

I wonder how many of these we'll see among the rest of January's slate? I guess at least two more, though it would be nice to see one or two surprises in there. If they have as many Hammer titles as we hope I would be surprised if we didn't see at least one a month.
