Got an early start this morning and watched:

2) The Devil Rides Out.

A pity that they had to dub Leon Greene, but superb stuff all the same.

Oh, and anyone calling it "The Devil's Bride" gets a digital kick in the knackers...

I'm doing this for the first time this year. I doubt I'll manage one each day due to other commitments, but I can fit a couple in on certain days so should be able to get to 31 safely.

Started with this last night:

1. A Nightmare On Elm Street

Incredibly, my fiancée had never seen it before, which made it even more fun.

In previous years, weekends have definitely helped when I've fallen behind, and watching some shorter films, eg. many of the 'Universal Monsters' collection are just over 1hr. You can also set the My Movies app by runtime, so at a glance you can find a couple of 70-90 min films to watch, vs one 2hr+ film.

Yeah I'll probably do some shorter ones, too. My fiancée generally works from 7.30am to 4pm on Saturdays so I tend to spend two hours on chores and that gives me time to fit 3 or 4 films in if I fancy watching stuff, so I should be alright for catching up. I'll need it, though, as today is day 2 and I'm off to the cinema to watch something that's definitely not a horror! (For those interested, it's Lucky)

I found myself seriously pressed for time yesterday, which is why I opted for Ghost of Frankenstein, coming in at a very trim 67 mins.

2. The Purge

Not the best movie ever, definitely flawed, but I quite like the franchise and I don't think it deserves a lot of the hate it gets. Watched this one on the bus to work this morning (God bless modern phone screens) to keep myself up to date.
