Putting out MM2 before 1 because it has a known actor in it is shockingly dumb. There is no way it would have a positive effect on sales.

I'll definitely be waiting for the first one to drop before I grab the sequel.

Ill be waiting too. In fact I may not even mess with the second one. I remember watching these before and only the first one being good.

They should have at least released both at the same time. It's not a Marvel movie so I don't know why they think focusing on Mark Ruffalo is going to get them many extra sales.

I'm telling you, David DeFalco is a regular Warren Buffett. His business acumen is truly next level.

I'll be doing the same. I hate buying sequels before the originals even if the sequels are in-name-only. This is just as dumb as marketing something as "From the Executive Producer of..." I see that tagline on lots of theatrical movie posters. Who cares who the boss was on some other movie?

Not uncommon practice in collectibles arena.

In fact mondotees just released halloween 1-5 on vinyl in reverse order, spaced about a month out for each release.

Likely reason is if people buy a sequel they will likely be compelled to buy the original, but not necessarily the other way around.

Vinyl is different since it's just music. I would imagine most people would want to watch part 1 first. I think this move will just make people wait for part 1 to come out first. If this was actually a good method of selling movies, I imagine other labels would do it.

Is anyone still considering ordering Cop Killers? If so, would you be willing to order the bundle with The Police Connection and sell me the Police Connection blu? I would paypal you the money in advance of course. I just have no interest in Cop Killers.

Probably the cheapest way to get the The Police Connection at the moment, or only way outside of fleabay. I am interested in Cop Killers as well, so it's an obvious purchase, it's just funny to see P.C. pop up outta no where again. Can't complain though.

Davey the Demon, what workout you do for those traps? Standard shrugs or something more complex?

Hey pal, how about you leave the marketing decisions up to the professionals. I'm fairly certain a film director and business owner with a proven track record has more knowledge about what will or won't sell than a guy sitting alone in a room staring at a screen.
