Are there any struck games that are worth having though?

The ones that are struck are real dogs, X-Blades, 50 Cent, Hail to the Chimp, Bolt. It would be wrong for us not to warn people against these titles.

X Blades is like a title you may purchase when it goes to the bargain bin(or at least that will be my case) but i agree with everything else on the slashed titles. Well ok i do wonder about Destroy All Humans though because the 1st 2 on PS2 were awesome but have they really ruined the series?

Oh don't get me wrong, I have similar feelings and can agree with everything that was crossed out.

I just think its premature to tell flat out say not to even try these games and avoid them before a review is made.

Just give them a chance!

How can you know that x blades is a game to avoid? It won't be the best but it might be enough to scratch that hack n slash itch, therefore making it a so-so game.

Actually eventhough it doesn't look all that good, I'm still giving it a shot as well by renting it on my Gamefly account.

Well KZ2 is going to have to wait for me. I really want SFIV and there is no way I can avoid Star Ocean 4 for 360.

There is a funny thing about this thread.

When I read it, I saw "guide to 2009 releases" (wasn't paying attention). When I opened the thread never though 2wice about it.

There are so many releases I actually thought this was the 2009 release list not just February!
Holy-Cow <-(no religeous offence intended there) thats a lot of releases this month.

After reading the list even further, I realize it is for all regions too. Shows how much I pay attention sometimes.

Hmm Im going to have to give xblades a chance to see if I like it, as I would like to have more then one fighting game... Soul Calibur 4 is lonely..

And it sounds interesting anyway the concept..

The Godfather 2's been delayed so I've removed it.

Quote:
EA has revealed that The Godfather II won't be making its release later this month, stating that the game will instead arrive at retail during the company's Q1 fiscal period, between April and June '09. While curiously missing a press release announcing the delay (unlike the similarly delayed Sims 3 and Dragon Age), EA CEO John Riccitiello explained that the reason for Godfather II's delay was to generate more excitement about the title, and exercise the company's new focus on longer lead marketing.

It wasn't all marketing, however; the lingering effects of an unusually busy holiday season are also to blame. Says Riccitiello: "To be honest with you, we looked at the title, title feels very solid It will appeal to its audience well and it was likely to ship, as we had originally planned it, into a very cluttered, price reduced excess inventory channel both in North America and Europe in a heavy competitive environment. We didn't think it would get its best shot at success in [fiscal] Q4."
