Bonnie & Clyde Bluray Glitch (Scene Skips)? - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys,
Did a search and didn't find anything pertaining to this...does anyone else who owns the B&C Bluray notice a glitch around the 1 hour mark immediately after seeing Gene Wilder where people are running to the car and the scene "jumps"? I noticed this earlier in the film too but don't remember this time (I'll post it later). Can anyone check this out for me or confirm it?

edit: playing this on a PS3 with updated firmware

2nd edit: problem solved. error in the movie's editing, not the disc. thanks for your help.

I've watched this a couple times and have not noticed any skipping at all.

same here, plays fine, have you tried a dvd cleaning kit?

literally just got this in the mail today brand new from barnes and noble, so havent thought of cleaning it..is it possible i got a bad pressing?

edit: playing this on a PS3 with updated firmware

Does it jump to another scene or to a later point in the same scene? It's possible that it's how it was edited.

it's an incredibly quick skip. basically, you see the characters running toward the car then the scene jumps quickly "backwards" and you see them starting to run toward the car again and the movie continues. it did something similar in other parts of the movie.

i already got a refund for the movie, but i would be curious if anyone else noticed this on their copy. like i said it's right around the 1 hour mark immediately after seeing gene wilder making out with some chick.

I just looked at it, that's the editing of the movie, the disc is fine. Go buy it again!!!!!!!LOL!!!!!

It may just be a clumsy edit (although Dede Allen wasn't noted for that). But if you don't have the coverage, sometimes there's no choice.

Gene Wilder is definitely in the movie. It was one of his first film gigs, if not the first.
