Do you want him to blow his speakers. You have to be careful when boosting your PS3 output volume. +1 and even +2 is fine, but +3 and diff +4 can be dangerous for your speakers. Distortion is what will damage a speaker. It's not noise or anything similar to that. Its just pure distortion. I would leave it at zero and let your amp....well amplify your sound. Not the PS3. Just a suggestion.

The PS3 can murder a tweeter at +4...So don't be a man and shave the fur off your peaches...unless you want to be buying new speakers after you decide to showcase your system to someone.
