I'm watching the World Series.
One of our granddaughters is over so the wife has got her hands full. I give her occasional breaks.

Went out with my new Malaysian friend today. Introduced her to Barnes & Noble and Very Berry Sundaes from Costco. She had been there before but had never had the sundae. She couldn't finish hers so I gladly obliged We also went to the mall where I picked up a Box Lunch exclusive Funko for my sourcing thread. Made a trip to Walmart for a sourcing pickup as well. I did that while she browsed at B&N.

Just got home. WHAT A CONCERT! I haven't been to that many concerts, but the ones I've been to have all been pretty good, but Keith Urban really set the standard. By far the most engaging and interactive with the crowd. Kelsea Ballerini opened the show up for him, and she wasn't bad, and very easy on the eyes. Keith was a pretty funny guy, brought up a fan onto the stage, and also gave away one of his guitars to a different fan. He walked throughout the floor area to get to another stage. I knew he was quite a guitarist, but he really put on a show.

As soon as my wife and I were walking out of the arena, his motorcoach had already come up and Keith was sitting as the front seat passenger and was waving. It was pretty amusing how fast he got out of there. He has a bit of a drive to Hershey, PA for his concert tomorrow.

Makes me wonder how many motorcoaches I've driven passed that belongs to singers/celebs.. and had no idea.

^ Awesome!
When we went to Steve Earle a month ago, we couldn't find a BnB because Keith Urban was playing the night before and there was an influx of people in town for his show.

Coffee and news for me.

My lady is a big fan of his and of country music in general, so KU was my first indoctrination into that particular musical world. I can't tell you a single song by him nor what he played that night, but it was a great show, very engaging, fun, entertaining, etc. and a resounding YES to the fact that he's a smoking awesome guitar player but I knew that going in (much like Brad Paisley). Anyway, if you've ever seen interviews with him or seen him on American Idol or whatever, you can tell that he's just a kind soul and very easy to root for. He's clearly a very caring, sensitive dude...it must be the birthday.

Taking my " lunch " break and texting my girlfriend to see if she wants to hang out tonight after we both get off work. She's not sure if she has to work tomorrow yet so I may be on my own once again.

Where was this at Scar? Did Steve include Galway Girl in his set list? Not too familiar with him but I know he wrote that song and it's a good one!

Done with my training. So I’m having something to eat before I head home. Found a nice little diner that makes a nice breakfast. Might go home and take a nap. Despite the whiskey last night I slept for crap. Enjoy your day gang.

Hanging out with the girlfriend here in my apartment, trying to figure out what we're gonna do tonight. Just told her I had to work this weekend and she flipped out, apparently we had plans to meet my folks somewhere that I must have forgotten about. Well crap I guess I'm going to be in trouble come Saturday, but hey, what can I do, I've got bills to pay!

It was in Edmonton, AB, Canada at the River Cree Resort and Casino.
He was on tour to celebrate the 30 year anniversary of Copperhead Road. They played that album, then a bunch of other songs. I don't recall him playing Galway Girl.
Yes, he's an excellent song writer! I've gotta get more albums by him.
