Yes. Three discs per format. Though, we don't know how the episodes are divvied up and if any special features are included.

I would THINK/hope s2 will have HDR (if not Dolby Vision) since s2 was DV right out of the gate.

I seem to recall s1 not even having HDR on Netflix (and maybe wasn't even offered in 4k originally? can't recall what it displayed as way back when it first dropped)

I learned my lesson from Season One. No HDR, no sale this time. If this has HDR, I'm in day one. If I can get a link to it by then to order it. No car and the nearest Target to me is 40 miles away. Glad they are keeping the packaging format.

As you may recall, the regular 1080p set was $10 on BF. It's possible the 4k set could be $15-$18 if they do the same thing.

It's the specs that will draw me or push me away. No more half-assing things!
Remember, Season One 4K was a four disc set and Season 2 will be a six disc set, hopefully with HDR and lossless audio. I really don't expect a bargain price on this six disc set come BF.

Maybe $15 for the Blu and $20 for the 4k given it's 6 discs rather than 4 this time. I could live with that as long as Netflix does a much better mastering job on the 4k set.

Yup. Dropped out of the blue just like last year's Season 1 sets. It's exclusive to Target and the U.S. ... again.

Good to hear but I can wait for the inevitable price drop. Not too many releases on my BF radar but this would do nicely.

Here are some pictures of the 4K/BD set

[Show spoiler]

Just like with the first season, I'll end up getting both, but I'll wait for the BD one to hit $10 or less. The reason I bought it today at it's $29.99 price, even though I know it'll eventually be cheaper, was because I had two things for the B2G1 promotion and I saw it being put out and decided to make it the third item in the promotion.

Also, I saw about 8-10 in the box the employee was unloading. I think they were all the 4K/BD version since all the spines looked the same.

I think I'll be content with the BD release on this one -- S1 looked fantastic. But waiting for the eventual drop in price, hopefully on BF like last year.

I'll be getting it next tuesday. I'll do anything to avoid Target on Black Friday.

I think they went all out with this packaging than they did with the first. Love the cast photos.

Now if only it has HDR/Lossless audio...pretty please.

$25, not bad. Not sure if I need it right away, but I do want it to go with season 1.

Don't own that many shows and as long as Stranger Things doesn't go for 7 to 12 seasons, I could see myself rewatching them every now and then. It's cool enough to own.

$25 is for the standard BD. The 4K will retail for $30.

Doesn't seem to have any outward indications of HDR at all, but then that would kinda ruin the retro vibe of the packaging. Fingers crossed it has lossless at the very least.

BTW I still haven't watched the first season on UHD
