So I just noticed that on the product page on their website for 'Urban Legends' their is a disclaimer that it might not ship out 2 weeks early, however 'Urban Legends: Final Cut' still says "receive it two weeks early" and is already "processing" when I look up the order status. I'm beginning to think that the non-collector's editions are not impacted nearly as much as 'Single White Female' shipped today as well. I wonder if it has anything to do with demand, or if it really is the posters causing some of the delays....

First and foremost, we are sorry. Our customers and fans have been experiencing late shipments, damaged shipments and slow customer service responses. It is not the level of service that we have delivered in the past and that you have come to expect. We can--and will--do better moving forward. We have heard you and empathize with your frustration. We take this very seriously. Here are the steps we are taking: 1) We have hired four additional customer service staff members with the goal of reducing email response times to less than 48 hours in the next 8-10 working days. 2) We are working with our warehouse to increase the number of quality control checks to be sure your products arrive undamaged. 3) We are also working with our manufacturing partner to get accurate, title-specific delivery forecasts, which we will then communicate to you as soon as possible. 4) Product delivery updates will be available on the product pages as we go forward. If you only need to know if we are actively shipping a title you will not have to wait for a response from customer service. While we are working hard to prevent delays and damage going forward, there is a chance that your order may not reach you by the date you were expecting it and we all know that damage can occur during shipment. If you would like to cancel your delayed order or pre-order, we completely understand. But please stick with us if you can. We promise you that we are doing everything in our power to get it to you as quickly and in the best condition possible. If you have already emailed us about a delay or other concern and have not yet received a reply, please know that we are responding to emails in the order received and will get back to you as quickly as possible. We have the capacity to get through about 350 emails a day right now and we are anxious to clear the backlog. We appreciate your patience. We have more exciting titles lined up for 2019 (some which we’ll be announcing soon) and your support and enthusiasm for them is something we don’t take for granted. From all of us here at Shout! I'm going to go in a different more somber direction... No announcements tomorrow. Given the cluster f*ck of problems Scream Factory has run into over the last month and a half, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they waited another week or two to pin down what is and isn't feasible regarding production timelines so that when they do give a time frame, they can be assured that they will be able to stick to it.
