Hmmm.... You're right. These do look better on the whole. Thanks.

To tell you the truth, the title treatments on this set is something I'm not entirely satisfied with. The titles don't really stand well on their own without the Star Wars logo somewhere in them.

Also, the back artwork on many of them is lackluster, cobbled together from comics covers etc. I managed to stay with official artwork, no matter how peripheral, but found my options very limited.

Batman the Animated Series comes out on Blu-Ray this week.

The current limited edition set has the discs in the book/sleeve style packaging. There is supposed to be a regular release later (originally late November, which may still be the case, but the listing for it disappeared from many sites, and it was recently revealed that they more than doubled the production run on the LE set due to demand, so I can see that potentially getting delayed).

For those not aware, it is a 12-disc set. 10 of those discs are the series, itself and a bonus disc. The other two discs are the series tie-in movies Mask of the Phantasm and SubZero (which have already been separately released on Blu-Ray).

I'm planning a few variations for this to suit different people's needs.

The current WIP images below are for two options to put the series and bonus disc (minus the movies) in a single 10-disc case. I have yet to start on the back (which I tentatively plan to be the same -the only differences that I'm panning on for these two cases will be the fronts):

Someone in the thread for this release was asking for a set of covers for two six-disc cases to hold all of the discs (including the two movies), which I plan to make options for as well.

As for what I was already thinking about for myself (which I will also share), I'm tentatively planning to make a set that would be 5 cases in total. There would be 2 five-disc cases for the series and bonus disc. Two cases would be for the two movies included in the set. The final case will be for the animated movie "Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman," which is not included in this set, but was also an animated series tie-in movie that has already been released on Blu-Ray. For this set of 5 cases, I'm thinking of doing something with the spines where there is some kind of combined image when they are all lined up, but that is tentative for now. But I'll also have versions with basic non-coming spines, so if for example, someone wants to use the 10-disc case cover for the series and separate cases for the movies, that will work fine for them.

I already started some work on the "Mystery of the Batwoman" cover. To put this in perspective, in the final season of Batman: The Animated Series (which was at the time called "The New Batman Adventures," they redesigned and updated the looks of most of the characters. The "Batwoman" movie came out after this change happened, so Batman, etc. is based on the updated looks.

In the earlier episodes, Batman's suit was blue and gray (the blue areas looked more black with blue highlights). In the later episodes, it was just black and gray, with any highlights in the black area just also being shades of gray. Also, the sky in most episodes is generally red.

So, with the "Batwoman" movie using those designs and styling, the cover of it always kind of bugged me. While Batman's look is otherwise the updated one (there are some other changes besides just the coloring), they gave him blue highlights which wasn't accurate to that version. Also, the sky in the background is very, very blue, contrary to what is typically the look of the show.

With this being a straight-to-video animated movie release, and honestly not the most popular of the ones based on the series, there isn't much in the way of hi-res, quality alternative images for this movie to make a cover out of (otherwise I would consider doing so depending on the available options).

So, I found a hi-res image of the art used for the cover of the DVD and Blu-Ray releases, and started recoloring it in Photoshop to give it a more accurate (IMO) look in relation to the animation.

Original release Blu-Ray cover:

I haven't posted much here lately as I've been working mostly on covers for older titles, as is my own interest. I did, however, finish this one today and, although somewhat controversial by today's "stick-up-the-ass" moral standards, I think the front cover art is fairly spectacular (probably because the painting of Ms. Kristel in that pose reminds me of someone I once knew). I decided to share it here.

The full res file is available at the usual places.

Try looking up 2 posts! Jesus...

If I ask constantly, without even checking for a response can I get rewarded with some requests? 'Cause I've been looking for customs for The 4Ks of the Predator movies and American Psycho. Surprised nobody else is interested in them.

No problem. If you actually read the post (instead of just repeating the same request over and over), you'd see he says he's doing exactly what you requested.

Long shot but anyone have individual covers for all 5 seasons of Bates Motel Blu-ray? And anyone have covers for all 11 seasons of Married With Children or even scans of season 10 and 11 would be great, or if anyone here is a member of customanaics and could possibly help me get the covers from that site for MWC that would be great. I only use paypal for online buying and don't trust stripe

That's the one I have. I was hoping to find the original Sony DVD release covers if possible. I found scans of every season except 10 and 11

I've been thinking lately, about slimming my collection.
By that, I mean getting SlimLine cases for each movie!

The real hassle with that is getting 5000+ slimline cases and printing out art, which is already damn near impossible to find for regular size cases.

Any ideas?

Cool. Would appreciate Covers for the 3 individual seasons myself. One for the first season, one for the second season with Batman and Robin on the cover, and one in the style of The New Batman Adventures.
