Yesterday they did say they would have more announcements 'soon', which, I would imagine, is more likely to refer to sometime during the next week or so rather than next month. I did expect announcements on Thursday and Friday after Wednesday (to be honest, I originally expected all of February's announcements on Halloween), but it might be that we won't get them until next week. That said, there's still time for something today.

Someone close to the company said a few months ago that SF was literally struggling to work out a release schedule through the first half of 2019 because they have so many titles to put out but don't want to oversaturate their market.

So no... Valentine is probably not going to be the only February announcement.

Having scheduled 8 titles for January (which adds weight to the idea that they have lots of titles for 2019) I can't see there being only one for February. The only thing that might have changed their plans would be the recent manufacturing issues, though they did say yesterday that these should be ironed out by the end of the year so I don't see why that would impact things going into 2019.

Isn't there a separate thread for Arrow blu-ray's? I thought I came across one the other day but it may not be as popular as Scream Factory since they handle more obscure titles.

Yes, there's always next week to look forward to more announcements. I'm looking forward to the Mangler's extras to be announced, i hope we get the uncut version.

Looks like The Thing steelbooks are going to be delayed for some people, got an e-mail saying some will go out while others won't receive before street date.

To add further to the above, if you ordered Thing steel by itself your order won’t be impacted as much as for those who ordered the Thing with other items. And to expect “lag” of a “day or so”

Plus the email included a $4 coupon code

Valentine was a special Halloween announcement. They haven't fully revealed their February slate yet. They announced a Shout Select title today and will probably start revealing more February titles next week. They have a pattern when it comes to announcements, this is nothing unusual.

Yes they do have a pattern when it comes to new annoucements and they are always usually revealed in the week that sees the end of one month and the beginning of the next, ie this week...

Seems like a lot of people were hoping Shout pick up Valentine but if that's the best they can do for a Halloween announcement , well, welcome to the new Shout Factory. More new titles than older ones, higher prices and delays. Not liking this new company.

There are only so many older films that they and other companies can release and soon that well is going to start running dry...

And sometimes it's the last week of the month or the first week of the month. Technically, next week is the first full week of November so...

And IIRC they had to get permission to even post about Valentine on Halloween, so they obviously were not ready to announce February titles yet. No need to doom, Valentine will not be the only title released in February.

I mean last year we only got Behind the Mask so its not like Halloween is as grand of announcements as CC is for them..

I'm relative new to Scream Factory, so quick question.

His new releases on the site goes for $24 with poster + shipping, but mostly all later goes for $15 on amazon? or just some? I remember buy Misery for $14 on amazon.

I start to think if I pay on the site o wait for a lower price on amazon.

About the posters, I see a lot ebay Scalpers selling the posters and slipcases for stupid ridiculous high prices, that's one technique to get the movies for free? it worth? buy on the site with poster, sell the poster and movie stay free? Anyone do that here?

Example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Trick-r-Tre...p2047675.l2557

What do you think? Thanks.
