The '84 mediabooks DO feature the theatrical cut.
![]() I can confirm that as I own one of them myself, received my copy earlier this week. Just finished watching it and there were NO comic strip panel style scene transitions in sight whatsoever, no ancient Roman battle referring comic strip intro and in the end they do keep walking further instead of a comic strip freeze frame. |
