Same here. Feel bad for the ones who do receive them that way but I guess I’ve been lucky. Never once has a Steelbook been delivered with a spine slash. Only once have I received a smashed/dented/imperfect Steelbook (Deadpool 2) which I exchanged no problem. Only that one issue dating back a few years now that I’ve had them delivered. At this point the brick & mortar has been where the issue arises

It's Michael Myers. It's Halloween. It's a SteelBook. I have to get it. Unfortunately I do find it a bit lackluster. The front of the SteelBook is fine. I'm not really feeling the back and inside artwork. That font, however, what and the bleep were they thinking?

The font was part of the original poster that art came from. Gladly they fixed it when it was released by Mondo as a print.

Why am I not surprised. They finally put the title on the cover of a steelbook, and they use the ugliest font they could have possibly used. Figures.

Not to jump on the "terrible artwork train," but...

I do love the inside image.

Honestly, at first glance the front cover looks like it could be a fan made film with that font and picture. It just doesn't encompass the tone IMHO. And I wish the back cover had the pumpkin from the opening credits. Either crushed up OR fully inflated.

Maybe a lenticular cover will be made that switches between inflated and deflated pumpkin?

Oh crap...I boarded the train. Either way, can't wait to add this film to my collection

Same here.

Most of my pre-orders arrive 2 to 4 days before release day so if they are damaged in any way I can happily go to the store on Tuesday to exchange it. That has only happened once or twice in my years of using free shipping as an Elite member. It has saved me a lot of unnecessary trips to the store.

I have a busy schedule so free shipping all the way!

Wow, really disappointed on this artwork honestly. Font is ****ing terrible and that back image like wtf, did they just google a picture of a pumpkin? Like use the rotting one in the opening title and the actual font.

The artist's name is Bill Sienkiewicz. It was a limited edition 27 x 40" print run of 150 that sells for a few hundred dollars.

It is a font. The original doesn't have the title on it. Stop getting indignant because people have different tastes than you do. Who cares.
