First of all, welcome to Playstation Nation Domination!

Second, now that you have a Pro and a 4K tv, you need Horizon Zero Dawn and God of War in your life! Ratchet and Clank in 4K is literally like playing a Pixar movie. Also if you're into racing, GT Sport looks amaze-balls in 4K/HDR!

Shouldn’t be too hard to find what you want. If they do run out of a great deal somewhere, you can always price match at another store. Did that last year when GameStop ran out of Injustice 2. PMed at Target and got it for $20

I have the Pro and love it. Plus it's a region free DVD player, not sure about the bluray region limitations.

If only that really mattered today. I'm pretty sure it's stilla Region 1 BD player. Really wish it was a UHD player too.... whatever.

Pro all the way, even if you don't have a 4K TV. The boost in frame rate and supersampling in some games is worth the $100.

Kinda worried now that PS5 rumors are coming out that I bought this but nonetheless I just played Battlefront 2 campaign mode in 4K HDR and WOW I am having a blast. Like oh my god this is fun and I am awful at shooting games but its just so fun.

Indeed. I’d worry about what game you’d want to buy over what console you’d want.

Speaking of, mine as well grab them exclusive titles. You think BF2 looks good.

I was planning on getting the ps4/Spiderman bundle on Black Friday for $199. Didn’t know the regular ps4 didn’t come with 4K. As some who doesn’t game much and is getting one because it’s cheap and I want to play a few games, but definitely won’t play it a lot, does the 4K really matter for the extra money for someone like me? Is it that noticeable? Do the games look good in 1080? If there was a bundle on sale for $299 I’d consider it if it is worth the extra dollars.

HDR has been much more of a selling and wow feature to me than increased resolution. That's why I'm glad they support it in the base models.

Games look amazing in 1080p and like the above poster mentioned: you still get HDR. Get that steal for $200 and you'll be happy!

Thanks to you both. Could the comparison be made to blu to 4K. Meaning, Blu-ray’s still look amazing, but 4K looks a little better. It’s not a dvd to Blu-ray leap? If that makes sense.

Pick up God of War immediately lol. You can also pick up the Remastered GOW 3 too. Sony has the best exclusives, so you'll have plenty games to play.

If you like games with a heavy emphasis on story and a tiny bit of mystery thrown in, look into the Life is Strange series. They're episodic, so they start off digitally but if you wait about a year they come out physically. Currently the first two games in the series are on a physical disc (Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm). The current game, Life is Strange 2, has 1 episode out digitally. I'm waiting until it's out physically to play that one.

As a general rule, I don't like digital because you don't actually own the game. With digital you license the game.

Definitely more in the realm of blu to 4k. You can watch some comparison videos on IGN and similar sites too
