Am I right in thinking that WAC titles are all region-free?

Warner make their discs internationally for all regions for their own releases I believe. Each WAC title I've bought has played perfectly fine.

When I was in HMV today, I saw they had Dracula A.D. 1972. Is that the same version as the WAC one?

Not only Archive titles but all Warner Blurays are region free.
Apparently some local German only German language releases in Germany are locked

Anyone heard of individual issues of the Indicator box set titles? Really looking to get a copy of the curse of the mummies tomb, already have the gorgon. I was hoping that as the box sets are released, individual copies of 'larger' titles may get released.

Doubt it when the boxes are still in print, it would rather kill their selling potential if people could pick and choose just now. As we're seeing with the Zavvi sale people are still buying the volumes so undermiming that with standalones seems unlikely and unwise.

Besides, not one of the boxsets from Indicator has seen a release of an individual title yet - not just Hammer but Harryhausen 1 and 2, Sinbad or Randolph Scott. The common denominator being they're all still for sale. When a box goes OOP, then we'll see standalones potentially.

Yes i was thinking that as soon as the box sets hit their maximum sales potential then hopefully individual titles may be issued. Guess i'll just have to be patient.

Long ago Indicator announced their intention to release all titles in boxsets individually after the sets were sold out. However I would be very surprised if, when the process starts that they don't become a bit selective.

With Indicator boxsets all the movies all have their own individual cases so anyone interested in just one or two would likely be able to finance the purchase of the one or two they want by selling the ones they don't want. Seems likely there are others who only want certain films in each set so selling them should be quite easy

I'm assuming that SC have dropped the ball on remaining Hammer titles that its possible for them to release. However I'm wondering what in the horror range there was left that they could have released ...

Any ideas please ?

Just buy the volume 1 set since it's great value for money & the UK Gorgon BD has 124 mins of extras compared to the vanilla Mill Creek release which is the one I presume you already have.

I have the aussie version of the gorgon which as you say is vanilla. I may well pick up the box set as i fear single issues may be some time away. I hope the next set includes two faces of dr jekyll and revenge of frankenstein. Would like the damned as well if possible.
Is there any news on the next hammer set?

They could have released Frankenstein Created Woman, which has still to see a UK release.

Also with SC is Lust For A Vampire, which has been released on DVD in two versions; with one particular scene clothed and unclothed.

Hammer but not horror, completists may be interested in this sitcom adaptation:

Man About the House coming January 28th 2019. Fingers crossed StudioCanal will license more blu-ray debut titles to Network.

SC have a 21 dvd set of Hammer titles. Have a look at that and you should see everything they have not yet released.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ultimate-Ha...mer+collection

They did say a while back that lower sales than expected might slow things down but with Network having a long running deal with SC it's safe to say that if SC really can't be bothered Network will be ( assuming the HD masters actually get done)
Also worth noting that some of the films in that set have different owners in the US so might appear there first.

The dvd set does not include Lust for a Vampire which is another one they have. As you can see most of the best they have is out and titles like The Nanny and Frankenstein Created Woman are available in Australia although The Nanny needs a new master desperately.
The Vengeance of She is out from Shout in the US in February I believe but I'm not sure it's a strong enough film to pay Shout prices but I guess that depends on how much of a completist you are. Likely to be Region A too

I still can not believe that Studio Canal left out Lust for a Vampire !?? The titles I bought were Scars of, Horror of, & Sister Hyde. The other 5 titles they released I don't like, and not many other people do. Lust left in the Dust. ? : ( 2019 should be another Great year of Hammer Films on Bluray.

Ignoring the fact that Lust is generally considered to be one of the poorer movies from Hammer ( a reputation I think it gets mainly from including a song) I do wonder if licencing remains a problem. It wasn't in the dvd set either and was licenced to another company for dvd release so that could come into it. Just a theory although the same thing seems to have prevented Network releasing Vampire Circus

I think we have the best of Hammer already. But 2 conspicuously absent entries are the first 2 Frankenstein films. Looks like its down to Warner Archive to sort the first film (which is on course for Autumn 2019 release) and Indicator will surely insist on a new master for Revenge before adding it to one of their boxsets.?
Once we have those I think anything else is gravy. Shout may fill a few gaps and even offer some worthy double dipping
