OT: 'Empire Strikes Back'
PT: 'Revenge of the Sith'

'Revenge' was a better-written screenplay; 'Empire' is brilliantly directed and executed, the most polished final product of any Star Wars. They are both visually glorious, and they're both morally and emotionally compelling.

I love them all, but when push came to shove I picked Empire.

Having seen all six in a row on more than one occasion I can honestly say that the prequels aren't as bad as I labelled them upon there original release... Well Episode 1 was the only film from the PT that I had any real beef with, 2 & 3 were pretty good in there own right.

Love the Clone Wars scene at the climax of AOTC and the space battle in ROTS... Visually both are just awe inspiring!

While Empire is without disscussion the best one of them all, I gravitate towards Return of the Jedi for some reason. The opening scene is one of my all time favorites. It's probably the one with the most humor of the OT and it has the coolest lightsaber duel of the OT. Also the best space battle scenes in the entire saga are in this movie. Even with the technology of the PT, that final battle to destroy the Death Star still holds up as the best for me.

It's hard to explain, especially because many feel its the worst one of the OT but It's my personal favorite.

I agree. I have to go with the Return of the Jedi! That was always my favorite of the OT. Empire and New Hope were very good as well.
