Unlike so many others, I don't go all weak at the knees over a bit of cardboard or a booklet, etc.

This'll be one of two things: it'll either be a swaggy edition with a poster, book, and art cards, or it'll be a trilogy box set. I hope it's the latter, as I like RoboCop 2 quite a bit and haven't got round to importing Shout's collector's edition.

I guess I'll have to wait a while longer for Criterion to upgrade their DVD then

I want nothing less than a talking Robocop figure!

Pulls string...

'Stay out of... trouble!'

Pulls string again...

'Dead or alive... you're coming with me!'

Let's make it happen!!!

They made one without a string saying those lines.
I believe it’s from Neca.

This is pure nonsense, imo. As somebody else has already stated, there is already a fantastic 4K sourced release that's been widely available for a good number of years now.

Arrow would do well to concentrate on classics that have NOT had blu ray releases! I mean first Children of Men, and now Robocop??? What's next, Crimson Peak?????

Oh wait...

Agree 100% - it's especially infuriating because, as we know, we're forced to buy every release.

Oh wait....

Always a nice thing to read in a forum dedicated to collecting Blu-rays.

Isn't it mainly/mostly about what's on the disc?

What? Not sure why you're rolling your eyes. Yes, we collect blu-rays for the films themselves. We like the films. End of. Isn't that the point? As long as the film looks and sounds good, most normal people don't get especially excited about pointless fancy exterior packaging and a potential booklet. Jesus Christ, get over yourself and your pointless collecting ocd. Probably hard for you to comprehend but some people love the actual films far more than glossy packaging. btw Packaging is not art.

I wish I was you. I don’t seem to have any natural resistance to them.
