I have been on film sets multiple times and that is still NO reason for him to act like that under ANY circumstance. He is NOT the boss. If the DP was bothering him this much, he could contact the Producer or the AD or even the Director...NO reason to act like this at all...he is just a big diva who thinks he's the shiattt...the DP is a bigger part of the movie than he will ever be and no matter WHO it was on set, going off on them is wrong...and that DOES make him a bad person. When he hurts people's feelings like that, it is like being a bad person...and with this diva, he even has done it in his own family.

I like him as an actor, but not so sure about him on set...and I would definitely not want to work with him on any set if he is this much of a douche.

Nobody has been saying that it was justified.
