Spider-Verse, easily.

Mortal Engines is a huge flop incoming.

I'll say Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. I think Mortal Engines will come second.

Spider-verse got the weekend to itself almost. Eastwood might be an upset second beating Jackson and his Mortal Engines, we'll have to see. The buzz seems to have died down around the Eastwood film.

The Mule is the kind of movie to have a low opening but have legs.

I don't see Spider-Man making less than 40 million; The Mule could gross anywhere between 10 and 20 million; no idea about Mortal Engines, except that it's gonna flop hard.

Yep...older-skewing films don't depend on an opening weekend to make a profit. It should play well into January, and beyond if the Oscars take notice.

SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE - 42.5 MILLION
THE MULE - 14.735 MILLION
MORTAL ENGINES - 12.9 MILLION

Will anyone be stupid enough to go see Once Upon a Deadpool?

All I know is they've been showing ads for Moral Engines like constantly, and either I don't get the ads, or they are horribly made. Either way, this movie looks awful.

OTOH, I'm frankly not the target demo, so what difference does my opinion make?

It does look like mediocre crap. Teaser was good and interesting, then the trailer came and I lost interest.

I'll probably go see either Spider-Man or Deadpool, as that week I have to have an EGD, dental work, and an arm implant three days in a row and that's a lot of needles and scalpels.
