I'm think Dreamworks has something to do with the pricing since they're not the ones that originally had them. Oh wait. Dreamworks is Universial and Universial is NBC and NBC had Freaks and Geeks. But Fox had Undeclared
Freaks and Geeks is a hour-long series, Undeclared is a half-hour-long series, correct? If so, that would explain why it's cheaper.

Actually, DreamWorks isn't Universal. Nor is it the other way around. At the time of the airing of both series, it was an independent studio. DreamWorks did have a long-term contract with Universal Home Video for the VHS and DVD distribution. For some odd reasons, some of their TV shows ended up being distributed through SHOUT! Factory instead.

Recently, DreamWorks SKG signed on with Reliance since they were unhappy with Paramount. They now are going to release all of their future movies through Universal Studios.
