Sony doesn't play around with the marketing.

I have love/hate feelings toward Homecoming. Spider-Man 2 IMO is one of the best CBM's. I like Holland as Spidey/Peter. Spidey is awesome in the MCU but there is alot going on with Homecoming. Really hoping FFH really excels and does this Spidey more justice.

The twist of Far From Home is that the whole time you thought you were watching a Spider-Man movie, it was nothing more than an illusion.
The real Spider-Man is dead. You've been watching a Mysterio movie.

Everyone who snapped has to have some kind of amnesia and have no recollection they 'died'.
I know if I came back from the snap summer vacation would be one of the last things on my mind.
Hey guys, we defeated Thanos! Let's go on vacation!

But they have to share and play nice with Marvel, not to mention Joe Moviegoer last saw Spider-Man bite it, so having him alive in a whole new adventure is gonna be stupid marketing.

Are we sure they're keeping with Holland, not introducing a new Spidey in his place until he returns?

Deaths in the Marvel and DC world's are totally without any meaning. They are so frequent and idiotic they are cliches now.

At this stage, with these stupid reboots, and the never ending mcu machine, I'd be stoked to hear it was an Ultimates universe Morales Spider-Man. Something where they can do it true to the source without the stupidity of stuff like the homecoming MJ.

Trailer has been delayed, probably until around 12/18. Just saw on Twitter.

I'm actually looking forward to FFH. I really like Mysterio, and I like Jake Gyllenhaal. I hope they show that Tom Holland has grown up a little since Homecoming so he can actually do some thinking for himself instead of relying on Stark/Suit to do the work for him. Also that new black & red costume design is growing on me. Gonna keep myself open to this.

So this is what I'm thinking...

Either Tony doesn't die in Endgame, or this takes place in an alternate universe or timeline. Otherwise how would they not be able to spoil Peters sadness over the loss of Tony?

Idk but should be interesting to see what kind of trailer we get.

Sony probably just realized the are going to spoil EG, so have to come up with something else.

As much as I wanted it today, I guess the delay is good.

Wasn't it rumored that
[Show spoiler]Far From Home takes place right before the events of Infinity War?

12/18 was a rumored date. Would be surprised if the trailer doesn't come out by Thursday for Spider-Verse. Cell phones are being sealed in bags at that panel/con later.

I didn't mind MJ, but Zendaya is a fun, young actress on the rise right now.
