It will be. The UK 4K has a US option.

However, the UK does have the new master on a separate 1080p disc, which won't be the case for the US 1080p.

I thought this looked fantastic, for the most part (optical gonna optical). Another wonderfully respectful HDR grade from SC, and none of the shit I've seen on their other recent remasters.

The audio was quite inconsistent, having to turn it up to hear the dialogue at the start, but having to turn it down again as the film went on.

Sarah Berry is a fox.

And whoever edited that new doc, needs their hands cut off.

I'm trying to be sensible this month and not order too many things, but the UHDs of this and the original are calling out to me.

What are you talking about man?! It's Evil Dead 1 and 2 on UHD! I can't imagine any other title this month (or the entire past year) being more important...

That's on the table after the long and nasty legal fist-fighting over the film came to an end. I'm certain we'll get it next year, since they didn't put it out this year for the 25th.

Great review.

I can't truly believe that - apparently - there's no one here that can say me if the "issues" presented on this 4K transfer are due to compression and encoding and NOT the transfer process itself.
