A digital only release? This blows! I don't buy digital movies. I want it on blu ray. If it does drop on blu ray I'm NOT going to wait for "the price to drop" to pick it up. This is the problem it seems. The new movie hasn't even been given an actual blu ray release date, and we already have people who are yelling out "I'll get it when the price drops." This is the kinda stuff that will make studios think twice when it comes time to release a film on blu ray in the future.

This guy does a pretty awesome job in the role it seems! He's not holding back and really emulating Warwick's performance. In a perfect world we'd have Warwick back but I think this still looks like a lot of fun.
I really love how it's going the Halloween 2018 approach of ignoring the sequels and being a direct follow up to the original.

Leprechaun: Origins was released digitally over a month before the Blu-ray release. I'm sure Lionsgate will release it sometime early next year.

i had been trying to decide for a while if i wanted to put it on a christmas list should any family members not be able to find me anything. but after i saw it go from $14 to $27 and then back down to $15 i caved and bought it because i think that's a friggin steal for 7 movies. i've never seen any of these so i'm excited to see if these are any good. if not, i'm out $15

Haha, you're in for an experience! Personally, I liked all of them (haven't watched Origins yet). They're funny and entertaining. If you're looking for straight up scary or award winners with good plots you've come to the wrong place. If you're anything like me, just sit back, watch, laugh and enjoy.

when one of the films has a subtitle "back 2 tha hood" it's kinda difficult to think you're watching an award-winning film

This! If you love 90s cheese, these are great! However, don't even bother with Origins. As soon as "Reborn" is released on disc I plan on swapping them out and using Origin as a coffee coaster.

Really not impressed, the success Leprechaun movies are through Warwick Davis, without him it just doesn’t work. The new guy is trying to emulate Warwick Davis, but it really falls flat, and based on the trailer he can’t deliver a one liner to save his life!

You just hurt my feelings - I was really looking forward to this one! Is it one of those situations where he was trying too hard to BE warwick? or was it more that he couldn't get on that level? I'd rather someone try to do their own take on it and fail than try to mimic someone and do an average job of it.

Why haven’t they announced whether Leprechaun Returns will be released on blu ray or not?

I dont know I think the trailers and pics fir the new one were pretty darn good. Better than what I was expecting. I think it depends if you are in the warwick should be playing him camp or not. I could care less and dont mind a fresh take on the character...certainly better than Origins. Im sure I'll enjoy the cheesy fun.

This just arrived in the mail yesterday in perfect condition.

The case is very sturdy and the slip looks good. Haven't watched any of the movies yet so can't yet comment on the quality of the discs.

I was actually surprised this arrived in such good condition because over the last week Amazon has:

A) Failed to deliver three items, resulting in refunds.
B) Delivered most packages late.
C) Delivered damaged goods (crushed cases, ripped slips)

Maybe I need to rethink 2 day shipping when ordering movies during black Friday/cyber Monday deals week next year. I think the rush to get things out has caused most of the issues above. I'd be willing to wait a week if it means packages arriving in good condition, and also not getting lost in transit.

I’m hoping they will release Leprechaun Returns in blu ray and 4K UHD and also the older films on 4K UHD format as well next year.

Lep Origins is filth. Watched it for the first time last night. If they released
Returns Id gladly put that in the multicase instead, it would have to be better!
