Believe when I say I'm not kidding here! Paramount has a made a new 4K restoration of It's A Wonderful Life coming to Digital November 20th!:

No word on a physical release yet, but this should've been the transfer for the Platinum Anniversary release instead of repacking the original 2009 disc IMO.

Yes, the same thing happened with the original War of the Worlds. This might be the first black and white movie in 4K in itunes though?

This is now available on Vudu in 4K as well.

Only problem is, its not on Movies Anywhere. Vudu now has it in 4K/UHD, plus features were added. But who knows if Vudu will automatically upgrade my HDX copy anytime soon.....

Paramount isn't part of Movies Anywhere, just UltraViolet.

I previously owned HDX on Vudu and decided to upgrade to UHD. It shows I own UHD in Vudu but it did not give UHD rights in UV. Only shows I own SD and HDX in myuv. What should I do? Contact Vudu support?

It's the same with War of the Worlds (1953). If you purchase UHD, you will only get SD/HD rights in the UV locker. It seems it may be a decision by Paramount to limit UHD rights from now on (starting very recently).

Do you know if this includes MI6 fallout. I have a few credits left on vudu and its on sale right now. I'm curious because I wanna be future proof in case paramount ever decides to go MA.
