Yeah, maybe not Oscar-worthy (yet?) but that guy definitely can act. Better than some even.

He's the modern Arnold Sweasneggar. Not the best actor, but has bags of charm and goes for fun action romps. Skyscraper was the only recent dud but even that one worth a one time watch

Being a huge fan of Disneyland themed rides turned movies

I was extremely happy to see Jungle Cruise was a thing. Then my heart broke when I saw the scorpion king was gonna be starring. Looks like my refusal to see any movies w/DJ in it dating back to Fast & Furious 7 till Jungle Cruise will be coming to an end. Oh well, I’m sure I’ve avoided at least 8-10 movies since then. LoL.

Yep, that's because Johnson is a Hollywood megastar and everyone is going to see him in the movie.

Johnson does very poorly at the BO when he doesn't have Kevin Hart or the Fast Franchise attached.

Fast Franchise was already making money and had a dedicated audience before he entered the franchise with the 5th installment.

Moana is kids film and they always make bank, doesn't matter who voices the characters.

G.I. Joe had to do reshoots to bring back Tatum because they were afraid of a BO bomb. and It lost money as well. (122 million on 130 Budget)

The film will flop as well because Johnson can't carry a film by himself. He is a terrible actor and needs other stars in order to succeed. Sooner or later studios will wake up and see the statistics.
