I watched this earlier this evening and I haven't noticed any dropouts. However I don't know if it's a faulty disc, but the ratio's were switching from 2.35:1 to approx 1.85:1 at exactly the same points in the film.

From around 23.30 minutes into the film it changes from 2.35:1 to 1.85:1 just before Tom Cruise jumps out of the plane. When he lands (around 27.00 mins) it goes back to 2.35 again. Then near the end of the film when Cruise gets into the helicopter, it goes to 1.85 again and during the scenes in between with the other actors, it jumps back to 2.35 and carries on like that until the end of the film.

I've replayed the scenes over and over and the ratios change at exactly the same point every time, so it's not a random thing. I'm thinking it's an issue with the disc, but I'd be interested to know if anybody else has had this problem?
