Just went to a special screening for Pulp Fiction last night and it hit me during the film that it's 25 years old now and took me back to when it first came out. I was in the 7th grade! 20 years old constitutes a classic for me though those same films (such as Pulp Fiction and the other 2 mentioned in the post) are instant classics from the moment they are released. On the other hand it took Shawshank Redemption quite a while to gain it's status. 1994 was quite a year for films.
