Trilogy II includes a remake of a segment from Dan Curtis' 1977 made-for-tv horror anthology "Dead of Night". The story is called "Bobby" and the original stars Joan Hackett and Lee Montgomery (Burnt Offerings). The original version is far superior to the remade version found on Trilogy of Terror II. Like Trilogy 1 & 2, the other stories in the anthology fall a bit flat, but "Bobby" makes it worthwhile. Unfortunately Dead of Night is only currently available on dvd at this time. |
