I finally pulled the trigger and bought season 1. It cost me $60 including postage to Australia. So if the 12 seasons do get released, that'll be a $720 investment... Yikes!

At that price, I doubt it'll make it to season 12. But I'll be happy if the first five seasons get released as the episodes set in Cabot Cove are some of my favorites. When she moved to New York I thought the show lost some of it's charm. But I guess there's only so many people that you can kill off in a small town...

I think it's significant that everywhere she goes, people die. The show is basically Dexter and Jessica Fletcher America's most prolific serial killer, with every episode built around her ingenious efforts to evade capture by fitting up one of this week's innocent guest stars.
