Re-watched all of these movies recently, boy would they look great on 4k. Seriously hoping we can get these soon, perhaps when the inevitable pirates 6 comes out.

Pirates 6 is not happening they are rebooting it without Johnny Depp.

I heard about that the other day, I don’t think it’s confirmed yet that Depp won’t be in it. But either way when the new pirates movie comes out we should get these on 4k.

Yeah it was confirmed months ago. Depp just doesn’t have the star power as he use to.

Dang that sucks, Jack Sparrow was the my favorite part about these movies. Sadly Depps career has gone down hill because of all the controversies around him.

I'm not the biggest fan of this franchise, but since I own the last movie on UHD, I would like to have the others as well. And who knows, a nice UHD collection might just make me appreciate these movies more.

1-3 still re-watchable thanks to zimmer score and all.

Agreed, I love the first 3 (mostly due to Davy Jones and the score)

The fourth is okay and the fifth is terrible.

Depp was widely considered the best part of Fantastic Beasts 2. I think they could pull it off.

I would definitely get the first 3 (for me the 'Pirates trilogy') on 4K BD if/when they are finally released. Very entertaining movies imo.

I think I saw the first Pirates in the theater more than any other film. I love 2 and 3 too, 4 and 5 are forgettable. I'm still hoping for one final film. I will buy this all in 4K on day one, and put it in my Davy Jones disc set.

With the avalanche of 4K catalog releases from Disney this year, hopefully Pirates 1-4 is on the docket for 2020
