that's the thing. they haven't been doing that all night. it's too late to start now.

Bama needed a td on that last drive but came up short, again, on 4th down; second time that's happened. those, along with the fake fg (the hell was that, anyway), won't win any games against a team as good as Clemson.

Clemson definitely has a damn good qb in Lawrence. for the next 3 seasons, they're gonna be tough to beat and i expect them to win the ACC the next 3 seasons. and that would give them....what?....6?...7?...conference championships in a row? and i expect them to make the national championship game in each of those seasons, as well.

Dabo's built a powerhouse program at Clemson and they don't look to be stopping anytime soon. much respect to Clemson, they definitely deserve the win and all the accolades that come with it.

i'd call that a lock.

down 4 scores with a quarter remaining is damn near impossible to come back from. it has happened.....but it's VERY rare. and Clemson doesn't seem to be slowing down at all. they would have to absolutely collapse at this point, which isn't going to happen.

I guess it's time to admit it. Saban and Swinney are 1a and 1b on the college football coaching hierarchy with Meyer no longer around. Dabo has built a dynasty.

i can't say i don't like Dabo. he's a BAMA guy; born and raised. and he played at BAMA in the early 90s (was on the '92 championship team as a wide receiver). so he's still a good guy and will always be well-liked and welcomed around here.
