First off, I'm going to say that I'm new to blu-ray. I don't know if home theater is the right wording, but I'm looking for a 5.1 set-up.
Could someone provide a recommendation on any budget HDMI home theater combos, or packages. Roughly around 500$ and under. Just something that works and decent quality for its price. The HDTV's in a bit of a smaller room, if that would effect the type or size of speakers to get. Just something that would give me the best "bang for my buck". Thanks in advance. |

I can second this recommendation. This is the exact setup that I have, and it sounds great in my small apartment. I really don't think you can beat it for ~$500. It is easily upgradable to 7.1, if you decide you want to go that route in the future. |

For the $500 you want to spend, the RM6750 you can prob. find for Under $300---look around, you will prob. get it for $200-250 maybe. Then you can get the Receiver you want for the rest and be all set! Good luck. ![]() |
