What I do is budget my mortage,food,insurance,gas ,excetra then throw that in the garbage and buy blurays

I think I will try to stay away from that as much as possible at least for the first couple months after I get my house.

I mostly buy used blu-rays, only new one I have purchsed is Friday The 13th. So used, they are even under $10... but well worth $20-30!

Older titles (pre-1980 or so) I always buy first day either in store or online (usually the latter) in hopes that better sales will turn into more classic titles being released on the format. Newer films I typically wait till they go on sale, or I can get a used copy on Amazon.
